"Sensitive Personal Data" means Personal Information relating to financial information, physical or physiological or mental health condition, or any detail relating to the above as provided under applicable Indian law.

"Processing" means any operation performed on Personal Information, including collection, recording, organisation, storage, adaptation, retrieval, use, disclosure, or destruction.

3.1 Information You Provide Directly

We collect information that you voluntarily provide when you:

(b) Place an order through our Site, Amazon.in storefront, or at one of our physical retail stalls;
(c) Subscribe to our newsletter or marketing communications;
(d) Contact our customer support team via email, phone, WhatsApp, or chat;

(f) Communicate with us on social media platforms.

This information may include: full name, email address, telephone number, billing address, shipping address, date of birth (where voluntarily provided), payment-related information (to the extent necessary and permitted; full card/UPI credentials are handled exclusively by our PCI-DSS compliant payment partners and are never stored on our systems), order history, product preferences, and any correspondence you send us.

(d) Marketing and analytics platforms (including Meta Platforms, Google LLC) for advertising attribution and audience insights;
(e) Publicly available sources and social media platforms, where you interact with our public content.

4. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We Process your Personal Information for the following purposes:
(a) Order fulfilment: to process, confirm, pack, ship, and deliver your orders, and to communicate order status;
(b) Account management: to create and maintain your customer account, and to authenticate your identity;
(c) Customer support: to respond to your inquiries, complaints, and support requests;
(d) Personalisation: to tailor product recommendations, content, and offers to your preferences;
(e) Marketing: to send you promotional communications regarding new products, offers, and brand updates, where you have consented or as otherwise permitted by law;

Where applicable, we Process your Personal Information on the following legal bases: (a) your consent; (b) performance of a contract to which you are a party (e.g., fulfilling your order); (c) compliance with a legal obligation; and (d) our legitimate business interests, provided such interests are not overridden by your fundamental rights and freedoms.

6.1 We use the following categories of cookies:

(c) Legal and Regulatory Disclosures: where required to comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, including disclosures to tax authorities, FSSAI, or law enforcement;
(d) Business Transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, financing, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, in which case Personal Information may be transferred as a business asset;
(e) Protection of Rights: where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Adkroft, our customers, or others, including to detect, prevent, or address fraud or security issues;
(f) With Your Consent: for any other purpose disclosed to you at the time of collection, with your consent.

8. THIRD-PARTY SERVICE PROVIDERS

We engage the following categories of third-party service providers, each of whom is contractually or otherwise obligated to handle your information in accordance with applicable data protection standards:

(b) Account information is retained for as long as your account remains active, and for a reasonable period thereafter;
(c) Marketing consent records are retained until you withdraw consent, plus a reasonable period for compliance record-keeping.
